Auction Block
This item can only be used in World-Locked worlds.
This item can't be destroyed - smashing it will return it to your backpack if you have room!
This item cannot be dropped or traded.

The Auction Block is an unsplicable and untradable foreground block which was added as part of the Auction Block update on September 10, 2025.
Function
Starting an Auction
When placed by the world owner, the block allows them to select an item to auction, set its starting price (in World Locks), and choose a duration of 1 hour, 3 hours, or 12 hours.
Only tradeable items can be placed in an auction, starting prices must be whole numbers, and players are only limited to one Auction Block per world but can host several auctions simultaneously in different worlds.
Once everything is ready, the Start Auction button will activate. After clicking it, a confirmation window will pop up to review the player's selected item, auction duration, and starting price.
While an auction is active, players cannot modify or use items in the world.
