Daily Challenges is an update which was added on November 18, 2015. Daily Challenges are daily competitions which last for two hours. During this time, players can participate in these competitions and perform certain tasks, the players with the highest number of points are eligible to win prizes. They start every 25 hours with each challenge lasting 2 hours and a 23-hour break in between challenges, allowing all time zones to have a chance to participate.

A Challenge Board will display information about Daily Challenges such as the most recent daily challenge, the top five players and the number of points they have earned. The Challenge Board is updated every 20 seconds during the Daily Challenge to allow players to see who is leading.

On October 9, 2019, the Challengers Approach! update was released. It added new challenges and introduced the concept of guilds being able to compete against one another in these challenges - the Guild Daily Challenge. They operate under the same system as the regular Daily Challenges; however, points are measured by the total number of points of all members of the Guild.

The Challenge Ledger is the guild version of the Challenge Board.

On February 22, 2024, Daily Challenges received an update which added more rewards for all contributing players. Additionally, a ledger of the Daily Challenge information and the top 5 players is accessible at the top left of the player's screen.

Doctor's Duel: Perform surgeries for points, more points for harder surgeries (maladies not included) and points are deducted for each tool used.

War of Wolves: Complete WOLFWORLDs for points.

+1pts For every second remaining in the WOLFWORLD parkour.

Fish Frenzy: Catch fish for points.

+1pts For every lb of fish caught.

Star Strife: Complete star missions for points (more points for higher sectors).

+20pts Complete a star mission in the Alpha sector.

+60pts Complete a star mission in the Beta sector.

+70pts Complete a star mission in the Delta sector.

+80pts Complete a star mission in the Epsilon sector.

+100pts Complete a star mission in the Nexus sector.

+120pts Complete a star mission in the Heart of the Galaxy and the Desolated Waste sector.

+200pts Defeat Growlactus.

Carnie Contest: Finish a CARNIVAL game (except the Brutal Bounce) for points. Only appears when CARNIVAL appears.

+1pts Win any CARNIVAL game (except Brutal Bounce).

Battler's Beatdown: Win Pet Battles against a Pet Trainer for points.

+1pts Defeat a Pet Trainer.

Crystal Crusher: Harmonize crystals and smash them for points. Crystals placed before the challenge do not count.

+1pts Per Green Crystal, Red Crystal or Blue Crystal used.

+2pts Per White Crystal used.

+5pts Per Black Crystal used.

Mutant Kitchen: Cook Mutant Food for points (more points for higher quality) without assistance.

+160pts Per 100% Mutant Kitchen food, decreases exponentially (i.e. the smaller the percentage, the smaller the decrease in points)

Treasure Turmoil: Solve treasure maps for points.

+1pts Obtain a Map Fragment.

+50pts Solve a Treasure Map.

+100pts Solve a Weekly Map (Map of Loki, Tyr, Odin, Thor, or Frigg depending on the day).

+500pts Solve a Legendary Map.

BOO Blast: Defeat Boss Ghosts for points.

+1pts per hit to Boss Ghost.

+100pts killing a Boss Ghost.

Growch Games: Earn Tree Decorations for points. Only appears during WinterFest and are available from fishing, crimefighting, surgery, completing WOLFWORLD or Geiger Counters.

+1pts Earn a Tree Decoration.

Patrick's Prize: Complete BLARNEY worlds for points. Repeating the same world will not give points again until the player has completed any 6 unique worlds. Only appears during St. Patrick's Week.

Growganoth's Game: Drop an item into the maw of GROWGANOTH for points. Only appears during Halloween Week and using a Sigil Of K'Tesh does not count.

Chemical Conundrum: Create Synthetic Chemicals for points without assistance.

Chef Showdown: Cook food for points (more points for higher quality) without assistance.

Radiation Race: Find Uranium Blocks in GEIGERHILLS for points.

Pineapple Panic: Feed players with a Pineapple Body for points.

Essence of Love: Break Golden Booty Chests, Super Golden Booty Chests and Heartstones for points.

Prizes

The top three players of a Daily Challenge will receive a special prize (each type of challenge has different prizes), the top five will receive a Challenge Board, and the top one will receive a Challenge Crown.

The top three guilds of a Guild Daily Challenge will receive a different special prize, the top five will receive a Challenge Ledger, and the top one will receive a Guild Challenge Crown. Only members that contribute points are able to obtain prizes.

Additional Prizes

On February 22, 2024, an update was introduced to Daily Challenges, where all contributing players gets an additional reward based on their ranking.

Special Prizes

The top three players will receive the special prize. The prize given will depend on the challenge:

Fish Frenzy	Fishing Hat	When equipped, this item grants a 5% chance not to use up the bait while fishing.	Mega-Hooky Vest	When equipped, it grants the Big Catch: Mega-Hooky Vest mod to the player, which increases the chance to receive a larger fish.
Star Strife	Captain's Log	When equipped, it grants the Efficient Tools: Captain's Log mod to the player, which reduces the chance of using up a Star Tool during a Startopia mission.	Rocket-Powered Warhammer	When equipped, it grants the Enhanced Digging mod to the player, which allows them to break blocks faster, and also gives a special punching effect that causes particles of the block to fly when it is broken.
Crystal Crusher	Rainbow Crystal Block	It gives a 20% chance of getting back one of the crystals used in creating a harmonised crystal that is sitting on top of the block.	Rainbow Crystal Cloak	When equipped, it grants the Double Jump mod to the player, which allows them to jump a second time mid-air.
BOO Blast	Ghostking's Command	When equipped, it grants the Explosion Chance Reduction: Ghostking's Command mod to the player, which decreases the chance of a Spirit Storage Unit exploding in any world owned by the player. Growganoth's Game	Eye Of Growganoth	When equipped, it summons a Growganoth eyeball pet and grants the Calling Chimera mod to the player.	Claw Of Growganoth	When equipped, it summons a Growganoth claw pet and grants the Growganoth's Claw! mod to the player, which replaces the player's punch, causing the pet to shoot out small versions of itself from its mouth.
Battler's Beatdown	Pet Fox	When equipped, it summons a fox pet.	Chimera's Call	When equipped, it summons a Chimera pet and grants the Calling Chimera mod to the player, which replaces the player's punch with fires being spewed out of the Chimera.
Chemical Conundrum	Chemist's Goggles	10% chance not to consume a Chemical when using a Chemsynth Tool.	Slippery Chemical Coat	When equipped, it grants the Slippery: Slippery Chemical Coat mod to the player, which causes them to automatically slide on blocks as if they are moving on Ice.
Chef Showdown	Master Chef's Oven	It produces edible food at 50% or higher (rather than 60% when another Cooking Oven is used instead). Removed Daily Challenges

Some Daily Challenges have received many player complaints about abuse of the challenge by other players. As such, they have been removed and their special prizes were given new recipes.

Bunny Battle: Collect naturally spawned Magic Eggs for points. Removed due to players exploiting the challenge by hoarding them prior to the event and cycling popular worlds filled with Wooden Platform to maximise chance to spawn.

+1pts Collect a naturally spawned Magic Egg.

Zombie Stomp: Kill players who have been infected with the g-Virus during the Pandemic for points. Removed due to players simply exploiting the Broadcasting system to bring infected players into their world.

Cosmic Crown: Collect naturally spawned Comet Dust and Antimatter Dust for points. Only appears during the Night Of The Comet event. Removed due to players exploiting the challenge by hoarding them prior to the event and cycling popular worlds filled with Wooden Platform to maximise chance to spawn.
