*The Silkworm is the first pet in Growtopia which comes in many different types of colors. When you place the Silkworm, it will be of a random colour.
*[[Gruel]] and [[Water]] are the only items which can be used to feed a Silkworm that doesn't change its color.
*A Silkworm will lay 1-10 [[Silk Thread]] once a day once it reached Maturation (takes one day). You can change its color by using consumables like [[Tomato]]es, or [[Blueberry|Blueberries]]. If the color of the Silkworm is pure, it will lay 1-10 Silk Thread of the corresponding color. You can use a [[Sewing Machine]] to make items.
*Giving a Silkworm [[Green Beer]] or [[Rotten Egg]] can also make it sick.
*If the Silkworm does not have a pure color, it will produce [[Silk Thread - Grey|Grey Silk Threads]].
