The Acid is a splicable solid foreground pain block which was added in version 1.18.1 on April 26, 2013.
Function
Being a type of pain block, Acid knocks the player back and stings the player until the player stops all motion. A player will die after making contact with a pain block five times in quick succession (recovering from damage takes roughly 5 seconds). The Fireproof mod will not allow the player to take more hits from Acid, unlike with lava pain blocks. Instead, the Acid Proof mod, which is currently exclusively granted by the Krampus Crampons, serves this purpose instead.
