==Limitations==
While the trade system is ultimately safer than the drop trade system, there are still flaws in the development.
A maximum of 4 different stacks of items can be traded at once.

For example, once two people (victim and scammer) get a perfect deal (59 High Tech Blocks for 11 World Locks), the scammer would immediately switch the World Locks to something else. This works because the victim tends to focus only on accepting the trade, to get this thing over with. The victim then accepts the trade and gets scammed.
A player can only hold up to 200 of the same item, so if a trade would push them above 200, the trade cannot be completed. Hence, the players will get a warning message:
Oops - user is carrying too many item and can't fit that many in their backpack.

This scam is easy to avoid thanks to a feature in which you can confirm the trade after both players accept. Pay attention to the trade before accepting to lower the chance for a scam.
Similarly, a player can hold only one fish of the same type. Therefore, if a trade would give a fish, which the player already has in their inventory, the trade cannot be completed.

=== Item Limit ===
If a player desires to trade more than 200 of any item in a single go, the items can be dropped to a [[Worlds|world]] (with proper coverage) and the [[World Key]] can be traded among the players.
The Trade System has a limit to only four items each player, so a person who wants to sell item packs has to either '''a)''' receive the World Locks first (and possibly kick the other person) '''b)''' sell them in packets (which suffers from disconnects and impatient traders) or to an extent, '''c)''' perform drop trade.

Two People using the Trading System.

Trading is an activity in which two players can exchange items through a systematic method. Trading was added as a safer method than dropping for players to buy and sell items.

Trading Items

There are two ways to start a trade:

 1. Use one's Wrench and press the Wrench icon next to the desired player's username. A menu containing the 'Trade' button will appear. Pressing it opens the trading menu.
 2. Type /trade [the player's username]. The trading menu will appear.

NOTE: A player can only trade with players that are in the same world.

Sound effect

File:Cash register.wav
A sound is played when someone sends a trade request.

Additionally, when someone sends a trade request, a message will appear in the chat for that player:
TRADE ALERT: username wants to trade with you! To start, use the Wrench on that person's wrench icon, or type /trade username

Limitations

A maximum of 4 different stacks of items can be traded at once.

A player can only hold up to 200 of the same item, so if a trade would push them above 200, the trade cannot be completed. Hence, the players will get a warning message:
Oops - user is carrying too many item and can't fit that many in their backpack.

Similarly, a player can hold only one fish of the same type. Therefore, if a trade would give a fish, which the player already has in their inventory, the trade cannot be completed.

If a player desires to trade more than 200 of any item in a single go, the items can be dropped to a world (with proper coverage) and the World Key can be traded among the players.

Trivia

 • Trying to trade a negative number of items will result in the following message: "Whatever scammer. Bet you liked the game more before this cool trade system!"
