A [[Silkworm]] produces 1-10 [[Silk Thread|silk threads]] every day when it is more than 2 days old. Each Silkworm costs 7,000 [[gems]] in the [[Growtopia Store|Store]]. It needs to be fed with foods such as [[Egg]]s and drinks such as [[Water Bucket]]s. To change its color, one can feed it a food with a different color.
 
Unlike other providers, a Silkworm has a lifespan of approximately 20 days and will turn into a corpse when it dies. It can die sooner if it is left sick for too long, which may happen when it is fed too much or too little. Giving it an [[Antidote]] can cure its sickness. A [[Silkworm Soul]] can also be used to revive a dead [[Silkworm]].
