Also as of April 1 2013 the growtopian mods decided to make drop games illegal and declared people to be muted in this way if they ever hosted or broadcasted about a drop game. A player who is duct-taped will have their speech muffled. Whenever a muted player tries to chat, their words are replaced by sequences consisting of m's and h's, similar to someone in real life trying to talk with their mouth covered.


 
The speech impairment effect of the Duct Tape was popular among players, to the point where players would intentionally try to be muted by the moderators, though this usually caused them a higher punishment instead. The [[Iron Mask]] was added to combat this, giving players a permissible way to muffle their words. The mask uses m's and f's rather than the tape's m's and h's.
it actually IS possible to splice these now. created by splicing diamond seed and nest seed. you can get crystal seeds from events, and the nest seed is recieved from @nestor. to get one, just go to isellclearworld and msg @nestor. if he is on donate to him and you can get the nest seed!
