A consumable item exclusive to moderators but some users have this as well. Trying to get yourself Duct-Taped on purpose would result in a ban instead. You will hear an ominous sound when another player is duct taped if your in the same world as them.

Remember, when mods or developers tapes your mouth, it means that they actually muted the IP address! If you are near or within the IP address' radius, you might be taped for no reason. But please do not be angry as mods and the developers wants to ensure safety in growtopia! (Same goes for being banned and cursed in Growtopia).
If a mod or developer duct-tapes a player's mouth, other players near the duct-taped player have a chance of being duct-taped as well, as the mod is duct-taping the IP address.


Don't be mad just because you're duct-taped for no reason because when you are finished with your "sentence" Growtopia will be even more fun! Besides Ordinary players can use the tape instead of Game Moderators and Developers
