If you click it it will show your friends that are online and offline and the ones who you ignored
You are only allowed to add up to 200 friends.

Friend Menu
When you press an online friend's name, You will see several buttons. A unfriend button, And a "Warp to location" button. The message button is only shown when the friend makes his location public, So does the Warp button.
Offline/Ignored Menu
This shows where your offline friends and ignored Growtopians are. When you press on a friend/Growtopian, You will only see 1 button. For friends, You see a unfriend button. For ignored Growtopians, You see a unignore button.
Friend Options
This is where you have checkboxes if you want to make your location public (Makes your friends warp to you) or not (Private).The "Show Friend Notification" check box means that if you check it, You will see your friend/s going on and off (Ex. <name of friend> has logged off.) It could also indicate how many friends are online when you log on.
