This is a guide to doing surgery! It is advised to purchase more than twenty of each tool to begin surgery especially when coming across difficult surgeries such as Massive Trauma or Deep Brain Tumor. Purchasing the Surgical Kit may also be handy. There is also a Daily Challenge where players compete to complete the most successful surgeries in two hours. There is also a Surgery Day where malpractice and recovering are shorter as well as bonus prizes only obtainable on Surgery Day.

Tools
Skill Fail/Surgeon Skill
* Surgical Sponges : Use it when you see when "It's becoming hard to see your work."
Skill Fail is designed to make surgery harder. During surgery, the player may fail to use a tool properly. In the event of a skill fail, the player is required to do that step again before continuing. If a player's Surgeon Skill is higher, the player will receive less skill fails. Players with a low Surgeon Skill will face more skill fails and is part of the learning process to becoming better at surgery. Players with a Surgeon Skill of 100 can still face skill fails, however, the chance is very low (approximately 2%).
* Surgical Splint : Used to fix fractures.
* Surgical Antiseptic : Use it to clear the operation site.
* Surgical Antibiotic : Use it if the patient has a fever, when the patient's temperature is above 105.
* Surgical Anesthetic : Use it to make the patient sleep. If you used a Scalpel and you see "Coming to" , the patient will wake up in 2 turns so you will have to use it again.
* Surgical Scalpel : Use it after using Antiseptic and Anesthetic. You have to use it a certain number of time to use the button "Fix It."
* Surgical Stitches : Use it when the patient is losing blood very quickly and when you fixed something to stitches the incisions. It has to be used until you see "0 Incisions".
* Surgical Lab Kit : Use this before using Antibioitics.
* Surgical Clamp : Stops bleeding but do not close cuts(Only usable if you had used Scalpel)
* Surgical Defibrillator : Use if the heart stops.
* Surgical Pins : Pins are used to fix shattered bones. You must first make an incision.
* Surgical Transfusion : A transfusion must be made when the patient has a low supply of blood.
* Surgical Ultrasound : You must use the Ultrasound to reveal the physical issues of the patient, this tool is also used to reveal other tools needed for surgery.

Priorities
The following messages will appear if the player has received a skill fail for a particular tool used:
There are tools that have a higher priority than other tools. This means that you have to use some tools first, or the surgery may fail.
*Surgical Lab Kit - "You contaminated the sample."
*Surgical Antibiotics - "This is the wrong medication! The bacteria like it."
*Surgical Transfusion - "You spilled all of it! Kind of gross."
*Surgical Antiseptic - "You spilled antiseptic on your shoes. They are very clean now."
*Surgical Sponge - "You somehow managed to eat the sponge."
*Surgical Stitches - "You somehow tied yourself up in stitches!"
*Surgical Anesthetic - "You end up inhaling all the anesthetic yourself. You feel woozy."
*Surgical Ultrasound - "You scanned the nurse with your ultrasound!"
*Surgical Defibrillator - "You electrocuted yourself!"
*Surgical Splint - "You ate a splint, good job!"
*Surgical Pins - "You jabbed the pin through the artery!"
*Surgical Clamp - "The clamp fell out of your hand, oh well."
*Surgical Scalpel - "This will leave a nasty scar, but you managed to cut the right place."
*Fix it - "You screwed it up! Try again."
Tools
These are all the tools required to do surgery. Not each tool is required to complete surgery but it is advised that players carry each tool in case they are required during surgery.

Top Priority Tools :
Types of problems
* Stitches - As a patient will die because of loss of blood.
Before conducting any surgery on a patient, all problems before the surgery has begun must be addressed. If the patient's temperature is rising, Surgical Lab Kit must be used to unlock the Surgical Antibiotics which is then given to the patient. If the patient is rapidly losing blood, Surgical Stitches must be given to the patient. If the patient has a weak pulse, Surgical Transfusion must be given to the patient. If the patient has any broken bones, Surgical Splint must be given to the patient. If the patient's heart has stopped, Surgical Defibrillator must be given to the patient. If any surgical skill fail has occurred, the step must be repeated again.
* Antibiotics - As a patient will die because of High Fever.

* Anesthetic - Because an Awake patient can cause you to fail using your tools (Which means death).
Once all this has been done, the Surgical Ultrasound can be used to find the problem. All steps shown below are to be done AFTER the Surgical Ultrasound displays the problem. If during any of these steps, the patient's heart stops, starts bleeding or any other problem, address these problems using the appropriate tools FIRST before continuing. If the patient wakes up during surgery, use Surgical Anesthetic to put them back to sleep. If any surgical skill fail has occurred, the step must be repeated again.
* Defibrillator - Is needed when the heart stops or patient dies
{| class="article-table mw-collapsible" border="0" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1"
* Lab Kit - Needed before antibiotics

Skill Fail
You will have to use the tool you previously used again, other than the scalpel skill fail, where the patient immediately dies.
When you wrench someone standing or sleeping on a hospital bed, you will see "Surgery Skill". 1 point is 1 successful surgery. The higher your surgery skill, the less Skill Fails you will encounter! The maximum skill level is 100.

Note : Contrary to popular belief, even if you have skill level 100, you will still have a (rather low) chance of encountering skill fails.

* Malpractice : If you failed a surgery , you can't do it again for 1 Hour.
* Malpractice - If the player fails any surgery, the player is unable to do surgery for the next hour.
* Recovering : When the patient is cured/died,You can't do it on him for 4 Hours. Sometimes you don't have when you die.
* Recovering - If the player has had surgery (failed or not), the player cannot have surgery performed on them for the next four hours.
* The patient does not get the recovering mod when you didn't use any tool.
* In Surgery: This mod will be converted to malpractice if you fail a surgery or try to trick the server by kicking a patient. It can only be seen if you press the Escape key on a computer while performing surgery.

Tips
Additional Info
* If you need to talk while doing surgery, just use a splint/antiseptic and press the chat button quickly when the surgery window closes briefly to update itself!
* If you need to talk during surgery, click any of the blank tools and press the chat button (or enter button) quickly.
* If you are missing tools, you can ask a friend using the trick above to drop you some tools. Simply use an antiseptic or a splint and it will update the window with the tools you needed!
* If you the player is new to surgery, it is advised for them to do easier surgeries. When player have reached Surgeon Skill 100, they can attempt harder surgeries such as Run over by truck or Massive trauma.
* Players can trade in Caduceus to the Sales-Man for items such as Thingamabob, Medical Scarf and the Growtoken. They will also receive either a Sales-Man Standee or the Sales Shades.

Revision as of 03:29, 16 July 2017

This is a guide to doing surgery! It is advised to have more than ten of each tool to begin surgery especially when coming across difficult surgeries such as Massive Trauma or Deep Brain Tumor. The Surgical Kit is also available in store for 12,000 gems . There is also a Daily Challenge where players compete to complete the most successful surgeries in two hours (50 points per surgery and -1 point per tool used). There is also a Surgery Day where malpractice and recovering are shorter as well as bonus prizes only obtainable during Surgery Day.

Skill Fail/Surgeon Skill

Skill Fail is designed to make surgery harder. During surgery, the player may fail to use a tool properly. In the event of a skill fail, the player is required to do that step again before continuing. If a player's Surgeon Skill is higher, the player will receive less skill fails. Players with a low Surgeon Skill will face more skill fails and is part of the learning process to becoming better at surgery. Players with a Surgeon Skill of 100 can still face skill fails, however, the chance is very low (approximately 2%).

The following messages will appear if the player has received a skill fail for a particular tool used:

Tools

These are all the tools required to do surgery. Not each tool is required to complete surgery but it is advised that players carry each tool in case they are required during surgery.

Tool Use
Surgical Sponge Used when the surgery screen says "You can't see what you are doing!" In this case, the player is forced to use the Surgical Sponge.
Surgical Splint Used to fix fractures. If the patient has a broken bone, use this to remove it.
Surgical Antiseptic Used to clean the operation site. If the operation site is unsanitary, this can be used to make it clean.
Surgical Antibiotics Used when the patient has a fever. If the surgery screen says "Patient's fever is climbing," this can be used to lower the temperature.
Surgical Anesthetic Used to put a patient to sleep, turning its Awake status to Unconscious. Used before Surgical Scalpel, if not, the player will fail the surgery.
Surgical Scalpel Used to cut open the patient. This tool is usually used until the "Fix it" button has appeared.
Surgical Stitches Used to stop the patient from bleeding or close up incisions. This tool is usually used when the patient is losing blood before a Surgical Scalpel has been used or after the "Fix it" button when the player's incisions need to be stitched up.
Surgical Lab Kit Used to unlock Surgical Antibiotics. Surgical Antibiotics cannot be used before using this tool.
Surgical Clamp Used to clamp up blood vessels. If the patient is losing blood before the "Fix it" button can be used, this tool can be used to stop tthe patient from losing blood.
Surgical Pins Used to fix shattered bones. When used, a shattered bone turns into a broken bone.
Surgical Transfusion Used to transfuse a several pints of blood into a patient. When the pulse of a player is weak or extremely weak, this will turn the pulse back to steady or strong.
Surgical Ultrasound Used to diagnose a patient. The player will not know what condition the patient has if this is not used. It will reveal physical issues of the patient and other tools needed for the surgery.
Surgical Defibrillator Used to shock a patient back to life. If the patient's heart has stopped, this must be given to the patient otherwise surgery cannot continue.

Types of problems

Problem Steps to fix
