Function

When equipped, this item grants the Eye Beam mod, which allows the player to punch one tile further, at the cost of decreasing their punch damage by 20%. It also replaces the player's normal punch effect with a laser beam fired from their eyes.

Trivia

• This item is based on the visor worn by Cyclops, a fictional Marvel superhero.
• When it was first released, the Cyclopean Visor didn't grant any bonus effect, thus serving a cosmetic purpose only. An update in 2013 added its current mod to the item.
