When equipped, it grants the player the Ninja Stealth mod, which makes the wearer's body translucent.

Trivia

• The rest of the Ninja clothes, Ninja Vest, Ninja Tights, and Ninja Slippers, don't give the Ninja Stealth mod.
• Some players think its weird since its a hair item when it actually must be a hat item.
