The Black Friday event occurred on 22 November 2019. During the event, for one day, all in-app purchases gave out 30% more Gems while smashing blocks gave twice as many gems. The Monochromatic Blast was also available in the Growtopia Store, the same as the previous year.

The Cyber Monday event occurred on 25 November 2019. During the event, for one day, smashing blocks gave twice as many Gems. Tapjoy also gave out triple payouts for 24 hours.

Shopping Cart World Building Contest

On 14 November 2019, the Shopping Cart World Building Contest was announced. Players had until 29 November to make a shopping cart-themed world. Players had to render their world and post it on the Forums.

The rules were (directly from the announcement):

• Only worlds with the Shopping Cart theme will be considered – participants are given creative freedom.
• Vend and Storage only worlds will not be considered.
• There is no dimension limit to the pixel art. Pixel included in the world can be both in game and real life objects.
• Worlds with owners who have been banned for more than 3 days since 14 November 2018 are ineligible to win.
• Plus Points are given to worlds that talk about Thanksgiving or Black Friday and provide interesting information to other players.
• Plus points are given to players who provide a creative backstory on where they got their ideas
• Plus Points are given to worlds with new/creative ideas and/or mechanics that are rarely used.
• Plus points are given to worlds with interesting/fun activities inside the world.
• Plus Points are given to worlds with music.
• Plus Points to newly made worlds.
• Worlds that have entered in the 2017 contest will not be considered.
• Negative Points given to worlds with no Jammers
• Negative Points given to worlds doors/portals linking to Vend and shop worlds or any other type of worlds that are not related to the event.
• Players can only submit one entry.

The prizes for the event were:

• Place 1st, 2nd or 3rd - 1 Diamond Dragon and a Black Friday 2019 Cart - Gold
• Place 4th, 5th or 6th - 1 Dreamcatcher Staff and a Black Friday 2019 Cart - Silver
• Place 7th, 8th or 9th - a Black Friday 2019 Cart - Bronze
