August 22nd: Growtopia is Legendary! There are quite a few new items in this update, but you will only find a few now... Because we've added Legendary Quests to get the rest! You'll have to figure out how to start a quest, and once you do, you still have an epic journey ahead. -@Seth and Hamumu |
The Legendary update is an update which was introduced on August 22, 2014. It offers the concept of Legendary Quests, which are composed of 20 steps each and reward an exclusive legendary item when completed. Another notable addition of this update is the Diamond Lock.
New Items
Legendary Quest Items
New items added as part of this update that are related to the Legendary Quest include:

| Dragon of Legend | 1 can be obtained from completing the Quest For Fire. |
| Legendary Wings | 1 can be obtained from completing the Quest Of The Heavens. |
| Legen | 1 can be dropped from combining: • Doodad (×1) • Doohickey (×1) • Whatchamacallit (×1) in any Chemical Combiner. |
| Dary | 1 can be dropped from combining: • Kerjigger (×1) • Thingamajig (×1) • Thingamabob (×1) in any Chemical Combiner. |
| Legendary Wizard | 1 is placed from harvesting its tree, made by splicing:
• Legen Seed + Dary Seed |
| Great Legendary Orb | Unobtainable; cannot be obtained by regular means. |
| Legendary Orb | 1 has a chance to be obtained from completing Legendary Mountain. |
