The Mining Mech is an unsplicable chest item which was added as part of the Spelunkorama Strikes Back! update. Step 17 of the Quest Of The Mech requires the player to deliver 5 of this item.

When equipped, it grants the Punch Damage: Mining Mech mod to the player, which allows them to break blocks faster. Moreover, in a similar manner to the Digger's Spade, it can break Cave Dirt, Dark Cave Background, Magic Infused Stone and Magic Infused Stone Background in a single hit.
