Obtaining
It will take 3 hits to destroy, even with the "Enhanced Digging" mode. It will drop seeds frequently, making it very farmable. It's also obtainable from the Summer Surprise.
Natural generation
Sand spawns naturally in Beach Blasted and Desert Blasted worlds.

Sand can't be spliced nor crafted but is used as a splicing ingredient for following items:
