The Death Ray is an unsplicable equipment item. It enables the 'Death To Blocks!' mod when equipped, which lets the player fire red laser beams from it in place of the Fist. It makes the same sounds, and the beam looks exactly like the Cyclopean Visor, but it doesn't increase the distance in which you can attack. Much like the Pickaxe, the mod also increases the damage done to tiles when breaking them.

Death Ray

Mad Science Kit

The Death Ray can be obtained from the Mad Science Kit for 5,000 Gems. It is the Rare item in the pack and thus unobtainable through other means.

Additional Info

Although it can be used to help in farming aids, most people don't recognize the helpful effect and mistake it for the weaker Cyclopean Visor, which may end you up banned. So it's more considered to bring the Pickaxe when working in farming aids instead.
