While wearing it, all chat messages will appear red, with all the W's changed to V's to mimick the stereotypical vampire voice. The character's skin also turns pale, mint green.

If you typed /sleep while wearing Vampire Fangs your eyes are still open.

This item is also necessary to complete an achievement, Costume Contest.
