It's Winterfest in Growtopia until December 31st! It's a magical season of gifts and wonder... for everyone except the Growch! Which is really too bad considering he invented a bunch of cool new items, and he won't share them with Growtopia. Some of these items are limited time, so you better get them! Maybe if we all show him the holiday spirit, he'll let us make the new items. Winter Gifts are not available in the shop anymore. How will you get them?

WinterFest is a yearly event which is held during December. During WinterFest, the world GROWCH is inhabited by an NPC named Growch. When enough Winter Gifts are given to him, few WinterFest items will be unlocked, thus making Growch happy and restricting gifts to be given to him for several hours.

• Be terrified by the horrible Growch! Visit GROWCH to cover in his shadow (Can also be found on Growch1, Growch2, Growch3, etc... similarly to Growganoth).
• Three new special events are added.
• Unlock new item recipes from giving Winter Gifts to Growch.
• Winter Gifts now spawn in your world! However, you'll need 2 or more people for it to spawn.
• The EXIT Music is changed.
• Enjoy this festival and receive special items before it is over!

Splicable Items

Items	About
Antler Hat	A head item which can be made by splicing Cuzco Wall Mount Seed and Das Red Balloon Seed. A player who's wearing guns or bows can kill another player who's wearing an Antler Hat.
Buckskin Hood	A head item which can be made by splicing Cave Entrance Seed and Rock Platform Seed. It is part of the Buckskin set.
Buckskin Jacket	A torso item which can be made by splicing Cave Entrance Seed and Barrel Seed. It is part of the Buckskin set.
Buckskin Pants	A leg item which can be made by splicing Cave Entrance Seed and Brown Block Seed. It is part of the Buckskin set.
Candy Cane Block	A block which can be made by splicing White Block Seed and Red Wood Wall Seed. Connects to other blocks of the same kind.
Candy Cane Fence	A non-solid block which can be made by splicing Sugarcane Seed and Wrought-Iron Fence Seed. Connects to other Candy Cane Fence.
Candy Cane Platform	A platform which can be made by splicing Sugarcane Seed and Rock Platform Seed. Connects to other Candy Cane Fence.
Festivus Pole	A non-solid block which can be made by splicing Checkpoint Seed and Wooden Platform Seed. Connects to other Festivus Poles when they are stacked vertically.
Giant Candle	A non-solid block which can be made by splicing Climbing Vine Seed Seed and Torch Seed. Connects to other Giant Candles when they are stacked vertically.
Holiday Gift Box	A block which can be made by splicing Treasure Chest Seed and Slot Machine Seed. Acts like a Donation Box.
Icicles	A block which can be made by splicing Snowy Rocks Seed and Death Spikes Seed. It kills Growtopians upon collision.
Lumber Axe	A hand item which can be made by splicing Dark Brown Block Seed and Dark Grey Block Seed. It can be used for cutting the Giving Trees in GROWCH. It will break when used, though. 1-4 Axe Fragments are earned upon each cut.
Steel Axe Handle	A block which can be made by splicing Ice Cube Seed and Lazy Cobra Seed. It is used in forging the Axe of Winter.
Siberian Tiger Block	A block which can be made by splicing Tiger Block Seed and Snowy Rocks Seed.
Snowball	A consumable which can be made by splicing Water Bucket Seed and Ice Seed. When thrown to someone, the target will be frozen for 2 seconds. It is also available to get from the Snowball event, where 30 Snowballs spawn in a world, although they would disappear within 30 seconds.
Snowmobile	A feet item which can be made by splicing Mega Rock Speaker Seed and Orange Stuff Seed. Gives the Speedy mod to the wearer.
Snowy Rocks	A block which can be made by splicing Rock Seed and Ice Seed. Connects to other blocks of the same kind. Used in the recipes of some Winterfest items.
Sock On The Wall	A non-solid block which can be made by splicing Red Royal Wallpaper Seed and Texas Limestone Seed.
Tangyuan	A consumable which can be made by splicing Wheat Seed and Water Bucket Seed. Gives the YUM! emotion for 2 seconds when used.
Winter Scarf	A neck item which can be made by splicing Snowy Rocks Seed and Aqua Block Seed.
Yeonnalligi	A hand item which can be made by splicing Blue Portal Seed and Orange Portal Seed. It is a kite. 연날리기 is pronounced Yeonnalligi in English.
Yeti Hat	A face item which can be made by splicing Twisted Spikes Seed and Ice Seed.

Crafted Items

Axe Of Winter	A hand item which can be made by combining 1 Steel Axe Handle, 2 Icy Axe Blades, and 1 Grip Tape in any Chemical Combiner. Its wearer can break blocks quicker.
Elf Hat	A head item which can be made by combining 1 Transmog Crystal, 1 Santa Hat, and 20 Green Blocks in any Chemical Combiner.
Glowing Nose	A face item which can be made by combining 12 Chemical B, 10 Chemical R, and 4 Chemical Y in any Chemical Combiner.
Holiday Cheer Bomb	A consumable which can be made by combining 3 Chemical R, 4 Chemical B and 5 Mysterious Chemical in any Chemical Combiner. When used, it will create holiday ornament and holly leaf particles.
Ice Dragon Hand	A neck item which can be made by combining 1 Transmog Crystal, 1 Dragon Hand, and 20 Snowballs in any Chemical Combiner.
Icy Axe Blade	An item which can be obtained by forging 100 Tempered Axe Fragments. A Icy Heart of Winter will also be needed and used upon forging. A pair of those are needed in forging the Axe of Winter.
Magic Reindeer Bell	A neck item which can be made by combining 1 Transmog Crystal, 1 Reindeer Bell, and 20 Glowing Noses in any Chemical Combiner.

Shop Items

Items	About
Grip Tape	An item which can be bought from the store for 100 Growtokens. It is used in forging few items, most notably the Axe of Winter.
Ice Horse	A feet item which can be bought from the store for 40,000 gems. Available only during Winterfest.
Mighty Snow Rod	A hand item which can be bought from the store for 30 Growtokens. Available only during Winterfest.
Polar Bear Leash	A hand item which can be bought from the store for 40,000 gem. Available only during Winterfest.
Weather Machine - Snowy	A weather machine which can be bought from the store for 10,000 gems. It changes the background of a world into a snowy scene. Giving Trees also become snowy when a Weather Machine - Snowy is present in the world. Available only during Winterfest

Reward Items

Antarctic Icefish	A fish which can be earned as a reward by fishing using the Candy Cane Bait.
Axe Fragment	A consumable which can be earned as a bonus reward from cutting the Growch's Giving Trees.
Candy Cane Bait	A consumable which can be earned as a reward from a 20% - 29% and a 60% - 69% Giving Tree. It is a bait to catch special WinterFest fish.
Elf Stockings	A leg item which can be earned as a reward from a 50% - 59% Giving Tree.
Gingerbread Fish	A fish which can be earned as a reward by fishing using the Candy Cane Bait.
Giving Tree	Giving Tree is a non-solid block which is obtainable by using a Lumber Axe on one of the Giving Tree's in the world Growch. Only 20 Giving Trees can be placed in a world. Cutting the tree in GROWCH will turn it into a tree stump, which will grow back eventually. A Winter Gift can also be used on the stump, which will regrow the Tree instantly. A Giving Tree is able to produce Winter Gifts and other good WinterFest items every 4 hours. Putting Tree Decors on them will make them give better rewards. The trees are able to be re-used, but the decoration will disappear. If no decoration are used on them, they will give a Winter Gift only. It is only usable during WinterFest.
Hot Chocolate	A consumable which can be earned as a reward from a 30% - 39% Giving Tree. It removes the Radiated mod and charges up a Geiger Counter in the user's inventory when used.
Icy Heart of Winter	An item which can be obtained by touching an Icy Heart Pickup. A player can only hold one at a time. It used in forging the Icy Axe Blade.
Magical Carrot	A hand item which can be earned as a reward from reaching the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd rank at the Growch Games daily challenge.
Moose Cap	A head item which can be earned as a reward from a 100% Giving Tree. It spawns a moose which follows the wearer around.
Neon Squid	A fish which can be earned as a reward by fishing using the Candy Cane Bait.
Reindeer Bell	A hand item which used to drop from breaking Snowy Rocks. No more of these items can be obtained any more when 1000 of them have been obtained.
Riding Winter Wolf	A feet item which can be earned as a reward by finishing the WOLFWORLD parkour.
Snowcone	A consumable which can be earned as a reward from a 1% - 9% Giving Tree. Gives the classic YUM! emotion when used.
Snowflake Block	A block which can be earned as a reward from a 10% - 19% Giving Tree. It is as slippery as an Ice block.
Swedish Fish	A fish which can be earned as a reward by fishing using the Candy Cane Bait.
Tempered Axe Fragment	A consumable which can be obtained from burning an Axe Fragment in a Highly Combustible Box.
Toboggan	A feet item which can be earned as a reward from a 80% - 89% Giving Tree.
Tree Decorations	Tree Decorationns are consumables which can be obtained by fishing, performing surgeries, using a Geiger Counter, finishing the WOLFWORLD parkour, and defeating Supervillains. 1-4 of them can be gotten from performing a surgery, while 11 can be obtained from completing a WOLFWORLD. 1-4 can be earned from defeating the Supervillains. Fishing with any kind of bait have an approximately 60 % chance of dropping a Tree Decoration as a bonus. Using Tree Decorations on a Giving Tree will give 1% decoration; every 10%, the trees' sprites will be more festive.
Weather Machine - Snowy Night	A weather machine which can be earned as a reward from a 90% - 99% Giving Tree. It is a combination between Weather Machine - Snowy and Weather Machine - Night.
Winter Flu Vaccine	A hand item which can be earned as a reward from performing a surgery. It spawns a gigantic winter flu vaccine virus.
Winter Robe	A chest/neck item which can be earned as a reward from a 70% - 79% Giving Tree.
Winter Wind	A non-solid block which can be earned as a reward from a 40% - 49% Giving Tree. It is able to blow Growtopians who stand in front of it away, just like the Summer Breeze.

Unobtainable Items

This section contains items which are unobtainable to normal players.

Icy Heart Pickup	A non-solid block which can grants a Icy Heart of Winter to the player who touches it. It is located at the end of the GROWCH parkour. A player can only hold one at a time.
Inviso-Block	An invisible block which are used by the developers in GROWCH to let players stand on the Growch and for the last stages of the parkour in the world.
