'''WinterFest''' is a yearly event which is held during December. During WinterFest, the world GROWCH is inhabited by an NPC named [[Growch]]. When enough Winter Gifts are given to him, a few WinterFest items will be unlocked, thus making [[Growch]] happy and restricting gifts to be given to him for several hours.

When enough [[Winter Gift]]s are given to him, a few WinterFest items will be unlocked, thus making [[Growch]] happy and restricting gifts to be given to him for several hours.


*Be terrified by the horrible [[Growch]]! Visit GROWCH to cover in his shadow (Can also be found on GROWCH1, GROWCH2, GROWCH3, etc... similar to GROWGANOTH).
Players can visit the [[Growch]] in worlds GROWCH1, GROWCH2, etc, similar to [[Growganoth|GROWGANOTH]]. [[Winter Gift]]s also spawn in worlds, depending on the amount of people in the world. During this time, the world select music changes.
*Three new special events are added.
 
*Unlock new item recipes from giving [http://growtopia.wikia.com/wiki/Winter_Gift Winter Gifts] to [[Growch]].
In order to unlock some items and their recipes, players need to get the [[Growch]]'s heart to a certain size before those items can be made. All splicable items or items which require a heart size to unlock can only be made during [[WinterFest]] only.
* [http://growtopia.wikia.com/wiki/Winter_Gift Winter Gifts] now spawn in your world! However, you'll need 2 or more people for it to spawn.

[[Giving Tree]] is a non-solid block which is obtainable by using a [[Lumber Axe]] on one of the [[Giving Tree]] 's in the world [[Growch]] . Only 20 [[Giving Tree]]s can be placed in a world. Cutting the tree in GROWCH will turn it into a tree stump, which will grow back eventually. A [[Winter Gift]] can also be used on the stump, which will regrow all the trees in GROWCH world instantly, at no penalty for the gift. However, it has a cooldown.
 
A [[Giving Tree]] is able to produce [[Winter Gift]] s and other [[WinterFest]] items every 4 hours. Putting [[Tree Decorations]] on them will make them give better rewards. The trees are reusable, but the decoration(s) will disappear if the item is taken from the tree. If no decorations are used on it, the tree will give a [[Winter Gift]] only. It is usable only during [[WinterFest]] .
 
When it is placed in a world with a Snowy/Snowy Night Weather Machine switched on, it will have snow on its leaves.

Each Tree Decoration that is used on a [[Giving Tree]] will give 1% decoration; every 10%, the trees' sprites will be more festive.

The happiest time of the year is here: Winterfest has arrived in all its icy glory! Make the Growch happy and he'll share awesome gift ideas with you. Then it'll be up to you to find, get, or make them as soon as possible, before Winterfest ends!

WinterFest is a yearly event which is held during late December, lasting for two weeks. During WinterFest, the world GROWCH is inhabited by an NPC named Growch. When enough Winter Gifts are given to him, a few WinterFest items will be unlocked, thus making Growch happy and restricting gifts to be given to him for several hours.

Players can visit the Growch in worlds GROWCH1, GROWCH2, etc, similar to GROWGANOTH. Winter Gifts also spawn in worlds, depending on the amount of people in the world. During this time, the world select music changes.

In order to unlock some items and their recipes, players need to get the Growch's heart to a certain size before those items can be made. All splicable items or items which require a heart size to unlock can only be made during WinterFest only.
