The lava cube is a block that is part of the unicorn garland update. There is no difference between the lava cube and Lava besides the fact that they have a different appearance. (Highly Farmable). It takes on the sprite of lava when Growotpia was still beta. To make the lava cube, you need 20 Super Crate Box, a Transmog Crystal, and Lava combined in a Laboratory, or an E-Z Cook Oven. It acts like a normal lava block,harming the user upon coming into contact with it.
When you make the lava cube, you only get one lava cube.
On item info it says DO NOT TOUCH
