February 29th, 2016 news from Growtopia: When you get the in-app purchase "It's Rainin' Gems" (50,000 gems for $10.00 USD you get a Growtoken for free for supporting Growtopia.

Growtokens are a currency added on March 30, 2014. They can only be obtained when many players visit your world. This item cannot be dropped or traded, this meaning they cannot be traded to another player.

Growtokens can be used to purchase things in the Growtoken Store, or you may spend 50 to launch a Super Duper Broadcast via the /sdb command. (This command has been disabled temporarily due to bugs, making the server crash.)

You could get 1 Growtoken for 1 Diamond Lock from Locke The Traveling Salesman.

The Market Price Of Growtoken Items Are About 1.5 World Locks Per Growtoken. (Crystal Cape = 115 World Locks. (90 Growtokens))
