The Silkworm is a non-solid animated foreground silkworm block which was added on the 1st of February, 2016 in the Silkworm update. One can be obtained from purchasing it in the store for 7,000 Gems.
Function
When first placed, the Silkworm will be grey by default, as in it will give Silk Threads - Grey when harvested. In order to change its color, it needs to be fed some food. Depending on the food, it will change its color slightly. For example, feeding it a Blueberry will make it slightly more blue. When the color of the Silkworm is pure, it won't produce grey silk threads.
After 48 hours, each Silkworm will randomly give 1-10 Silk Threads when harvested. Silkworms need to be constantly fed with food and water every day. A Silkworm may become sick if it is not properly fed. To cure it, one can use the Antidote.

Trivia
