When placed, the Neon Live Sign serves a purely aesthetic purpose.

The Neon Live Sign is a block designed by JonVince, the winner of the Design a Block contest held on the Growtopia Forums and voted upon on the 10th Growtopia Livestream on the Official Growtopia Twitch Channel.
When Neon Live Sign was first introduced to the game, it could drop its seed when broken. This glitch was quickly patched. Additionally, all Neon Live Sign Seeds were removed from the game as developer team did not want an exclusive block to be farmed to create more.
- However, some Neon Live Sign seeds can be seen painted on Painting Easels nowadays, as a remark of their existence.
