November 23rd: Happy Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving Week is here, and turkeytastic treasures await! Every day this week, you'll have a chance to get special seasonal clothes from breaking blocks - find them all for gobbly good costume! We're running a supper cool challenge for builders too: Create the best Thanksgiving-themed world you can imagine and participate in our World Art contest to get an exclusive trophy, designed especially for this competition. Thanksgiving Week is a yearly event, first introduced in 2017, revolving around Thanksgiving, a national holiday celebrated in Canada and the United States. It was first introduced on the 23rd of November, 2017.
During the 2017 event, a building challenge was introduced where players could receive exclusive trophies by designing a Thanksgiving-themed world and uploading the render onto the forums here or, by posting it on Instagram with the #ThanksGrowtopia hashtag.

On the second day of Thanksgiving Week, a Black Friday building competition was introduced. On that day, all blocks had double gem drop rates and Tapjoy gave out double payouts, for 24 hours only. A new building challenge was introduced where players could receive exclusive trophies by designing a shopping-cart themed world and uploading the render onto the forums here or, by posting it on Instagram with the #GrowtopiaBlackFriday hashtag.
