The Irradiated mod is granted when the player finds a radioactive item via a Geiger Counter. It prevents the user from using a Geiger Counter.

The Uranium Necklace and the Uranium Chair (while sitting on it) are the only items that grant the Irradiated mod for an indefinite amount of time, while successfully finding a radioactive item grants the player the mod for 30 minutes.
