The Nyan Hat is a headgear item released on the 7th of March 2013 in a server update. It is currently the most expensive store item in the game, going for 25,000 gems. It leaves a pretty rainbow trail behind you when you walk.
The hat is based off of the popular Nyan Cat Internet meme, a video featuring a flying cat with the body of a Pop-Tart and trailing a rainbow behind it.
Not to be confused with Phonecats Hat, a similar player-specific hat with the Pop-Tart replaced with a tablet.
