The Dwarven Background is a background which was added as a part of Spelunkorama Strikes Back! update.
Function
As a dark background block, a Dwarven Background enshrouds the tile it is placed on in darkness.
Light source blocks may provide light to neighboring dark tiles when placed. In a similar manner, a player can illuminate their dark surroundings by equipping certain light source clothes. The Night Vision Goggles disregards darkness completely.
Step 1 of the Quest Of The Mech requires the player to deliver 2,000 of this item.
Trivia
- Unlike most naturally obtained blocks, Dwarven Background has a rarity of 41.
- Similar to the Dark Cave Background, blocks placed on the same tile as a Dwarven Background cannot be seen without the use of a light-emitting item.
