The Vampire Cape is a back item introduced during Halloween Week 2013. The cape grants the Double Jump mod and causes a flurry of bats to fly out of the player upon death. A single bat is also released every time the player jumps. The bat gradually shrinks the higher it gets. There is also a rare chance of obtaining the Inside-Out Vampire Cape instead.

- This item is also required to complete the achievement, "Costume Contest".
- Flaming Cape can be obtained by burning this in a Highly Combustible Box.
