The Donation Box was released during the Home Pack update, but does not come with the Home Pack itself. If you go to certain worlds you can find or see Donation Boxes.
It functions like the Holiday Gift Box allowing other Growtopians to give a gift of items with a short note attached, like a Mailbox that accepts items as well as notes.
