Function

File:CheckboxEnabled.png   You can torch stuff at the cost of 1 Fuel Pack per shot!
File:Checkbox0.png   You're disarmed.

When equipped, the Flamethrower grants the Flamethrowin mod, which allows the player to break blocks faster and kill zombies during a Pandemic. It will also replace the player's punching animation with shooting fire. However, for every punch, the Flamethrower uses up a Fuel Pack or any of its variants.

Using an Ecto Pack creates a green fire. Using a Pineapple Juice makes it shoots pineapples.

Possibilities

Trivia

  • There was a glitch involving back items where any back item would be consumed when the Flamethrower was used. It has since been patched.
  • When it was first added, the Flamethrower used to break blocks in single hit with a Fuel Pack but then, it was nerfed to only triple the player's punch damage.
  • In either 2019 or 2020, the Flamethrower was further nerfed. This nerf was probably made so that the autoban system will be able to ban one-punch exploiters without wrongfully banning legitimate players.[1]
