When consumed on a player, this item grants the Angelic Halo mod, which adds a golden halo over the player's head for 30 minutes.

Trivia

• The Holy Jeans grants a similar halo when equipped. Unlike the Golden Halo, it lasts for an indefinite time, until the jeans are removed.
• The Golden Halo is one of the clothing items required to earn the Stupid Cupid achievement, alongside the Ruby Necklace, Angel Wings, Heartbow, and Diaper.
