The Cactus is an item that hurts you on contact. Every time you run into it you will let out circles of stars, similar to when you hit Acid or a Shockinator, and take damage.

Base damage from Acid, Lava, Lava Cubes, Party Cacti, Shockinators and Cacti themselves are all equivalent, they each take five consecutive hits to kill you.

Unlike Lava or Lava Cubes, fire resisting items do not affect the damage from a Cactus
