When placed, the Cave Background serves a purely aesthetic purpose.

Trivia

• Dark Cave Background and Monochromatic Cave Background looks very similar to Cave Background, and will only appear in cave-blasted and monochrome-blasted worlds.
• A Digger's Spade will allow the player to break both Dirt and Cave Background in one hit.
• Cave Background Seeds can be spliced with Sign Seeds to make Rollback Plaques during Apology Weekends.
