The Emerald Staff is an unsplicable hand item which was added as part of the PANTS update on July 30, 2015.

When equipped, the Emerald Staff grants the Flames of Ajanti mod, which allows the player to break blocks faster. It also replaces the player's punching animation with smoke-like particles.
