When equipped, this item grants the Space Commander mod, which summons a spaceship that follows the player around and shoots red laser beams when punching.
Trivia
- The Evil Space Helmet is based on the helmets of the fictional Imperial pilots—specifically, that of the TIE pilots—from the Star Wars franchise.
- A common misconception found within the playerbase is that the item was inspired by the helmet worn by the franchise's main villain Darth Vader. A post by the ex-moderator Zerkon debunked this claim.[1]
- The spaceship flying around the player resembles a Star Destroyer, also from the said franchise.
