Seth and Hamumu had to restore the game 16 hours back in time. Everyone's save progress was lost.
Trivia
*When Rollback Plaque II Trees could still be spliced, the block would drop itself or its seed when broken. This was changed after the event, however.
For this error, much like the first time a rollback occurred, players were rewarded with "Apology Weekend" to make up for their loss of time, which allowed players to splice the Rollback Plaque II rather than the original Rollback Plaque. It also gave players higher gem drops from broken blocks, plus every in-app purchase you were awarded 25% extra gems. This event lasts about 48 hours before ending, along with the probable disappearance of the Rollback Plaque II recipe.
*The icon on the Rollback Plaque is a reference to the Null Seed, which caused the second rollback.

The entire debacle happened because of a glitch in a server update which caused null_item seeds to begin appearing with a rarity of 999, they could be recycled at either a huge gain of gems or a huge loss (between positive and negative millions of gems per recycle) People caught onto the glitch and used it to their advantage to gather huge amounts of gems. This would have ruined the economy greatly.

The Rollback Plaque II recipe Cave Background seed + Sign seed may in the future be used to create a new block, similar to how the Rollback Plaque recipe changed into the Happy Joy Plaque. As the Rollback II Plaque appears to be a seed, it is possible that a new block could depict a tree. Though this is all just speculation for the time being.
