Cinco De Mayo Week

Cinco De Mayo Week is a holiday event which is themed around the Mexican holiday Cinco De Mayo, which is celebrated on the 5th of May of every year (Cinco De Mayo means Fifth Of May in Spanish).

A special, limited-time Pinata Whistle is available for 2,000 gems in the Growtopia Store during the event. It's a consumable which spawns an Ultra Pinata in random place. During the week, Ultra Piñata event can also occur randomly without consuming a whistle. You can receive various items listed below during this event:

2013

In 2013 the event began on May 3rd and ran through to the next week.

Items introduced included:

• Sombrero
• Poncho
• Desperado Mustache
• Flamenco Dress
• Hibiscus Hair
• Fiesta Sombrero
• Habanero Pepper
• Olmec Head
• Adobe Block
• Pinata

Each of these items was obtained by blowing a Piñata Whistle and smashing the Ultra Piñata.

2014

In 2014, the event began on May 2nd and ran through into the week as well.

All previous items were present, and obtainable the same way with the exception of the Fiesta Sombrero, which is now obtained through different means. Also, in 2014, You can get a Mystery Pinata by breaking Ultra Piñata while wearing Lucky Piñata Hat.

The Ultra Piñata drops a new item:

• Lucky Pinata Hat

2015

In 2015, the event began on May 1st and ran through the week as well.

All previous items were present, and obtainable the same way with the exception of the Fiesta Sombrero, which is now obtained through different means. The 'EXIT' sound is changed too.

Wearing the new Lucky Piñata Hat while smashing an Ultra Piñata will yield one bonus pinata prize item, deposited directly into your inventory. Bonus prizes can include a handful of new items:

• Mariachi Guitar
• Burrito
• Churro Block
• Mystery Pinata
• +Other items from 2013.

The following items could also be obtained by dropping items then covering it with the Mystery Piñata item:

• Fiesta Sombrero: Made with Lucky Pinata Hat
• Parrot Wings: Made with Crimson Wings
• Fiesta Dragon: Made with Dragon Hand
• Party Cactus: Made with Cactus
• Pet Burrito: Made with Burrito
• Cape of Shadows: Made with any cape.
• Rapier : Made with Growsabers, or Golden Sword
• El Verdurgo: Made with any Luchador item.

2016

In 2016, the event began on May 2nd along with the Spelunkorama update.

New items introduced are:

• Pinata Pal

The price of Pinata Whistle increased to 2000 gems at the store.
