When placed, the Growie Award serves a purely aesthetic purpose.
Step 16 of the Quest For Honor requires the player to deliver 1 of this item. 1 Neptune's Crown may also be used as an alternative.
Trivia
- The Growie Award is based on the Grammy Award. The name is a portmanteau of "grow" and "grammy".
- A snippet of the Growtopia Gazette which announced the implementation of the Growie Award said, "To celebrate the creativity of Growtopians we're announcing a new prestigious weekly award called a Growie that we'll give to the creator of an epic Growtopia-related Youtube video. It also gets featured in the news for the entire week!"
- GrowNoobShow, a channel run by players Hakanss and RuneSport, won the first-ever Growie Award with their music video.
- When a new Growie Award is handed out, a global message will say, "Growtopia Video of the Week: <video name> by <video creator>! Type /news to go watch it!"
- As part of the Quality of Life Changes update on May 20, 2022, the Growie Award is no longer placeable in public worlds and worlds the player is an admin in.
